Consistent quality, always reliable

This is my third or fourth order from Shave Essentials, and they've been consistently good. This time I needed more Pre-Shave Oil and an Exfoliating Scrub. I've been using their straight razors for a while now, and the quality hasn't dropped off. Shipping is usually pretty standard, took 5 days to reach me in Florida this time. I appreciate that they always have what I need in stock and the products work as advertised. It's why I keep coming back instead of trying other brands. The beard oil I got last time was also great.

Decent kit, slow shipping

I ordered the Shave Kit and a Grooming Bag. The kit itself was pretty good, the Shave Brush felt nice, and the Shaving Cream smelled decent. Everything arrived well-packed. My only real complaint was the shipping speed. It took almost a week to get to me in Ohio, which felt a bit slow compared to some other online stores. Customer service was responsive when I asked about tracking, though. Overall, a good experience but not perfect.

Good shave, good price

I was looking for a better way to shave without spending a ton. I got the Safety Razor and some Double Edge Blades during a sale. The first order discount helped a lot. The shave was much closer than my old razor, and the blades are cheap to replace. Felt like a solid deal for what I paid.

I returned a shave brush I accidentally double-ordered. It was pretty straightforward, just had to email them and they sent instructions. Not a hassle at all.

Their returns are fine, no issues. As long as you don't like, trash the stuff, they're usually good about it. Just check their site for the specifics, but I remember it being fairly standard.

I'm torn between Shave Essentials and Harry's. I know Harry's is cheaper but like, is the quality difference really that big? Looking for a decent safety razor.

IMO, big difference. Harry's is fine for what it is, but Shave Essentials feels way more premium. My safety razor from SE is heavy and feels substantial, not flimsy like some others. You get a much closer shave too.

If you want a 'set it and forget it' kinda thing, Harry's is okay. But for actual good shaves and tools that last, SE all day. The initial cost is higher but the experience is way better, especially for a safety razor.
